About Geri
Hi : ). How are you? Were you trying to find out more about the guy owning this website? Something objective? Yes, that’s what I thought.
Facts are boring so I will restrict myself to the bare minimum. Geri feels a Slovak at heart (it shows in his interactions with people), lived in Romania most of his life and thinks + behaves like an Englishman (in New York). On top of this, he approaches technical matters in a German, perfectionistic way (he’s a Gerhard after all). Nice mixture, I know, I know. (You really have to meet him to believe the above.)
Well, Geri is far too caught in his own little computer world to bother introducing himself. Good thing that he could let go of his perfectionism on this one because 99% of the time he hates delegating. Yes, even if it means burning himself out! What a piece of work, let me tell you.
So let’s see:
- has a 1-to-1 relationship with God
- he’s a Mac freak
- likes to have his cake and cannot understand why he can’t eat it as well
- plays with TXP most of the day
- loves to keep everything organized, boxed & tidied away
- gets frustrated with PHP & MySQL on a regular basis (I would if I was to learn everything as I go – thank God for Google). As a sidenote, thanks Drew for your support ; ).
- is a revolutionary and most of the time very harsh in his decisions
- enjoys playing with Photoshop and other creative apps (not too talented though grin )
- very stubborn and is still learning about “sorry”
- loves to play with shiny boxes (a.k.a. servers)
The list could go on but I wouldn’t like to tickle his ego – too much – in case he stumbles across this page.
At this point, the best thing that you could do is check his flickr photostream and deduce yourself what sort of person he really is.
